The Portobello Road Market
One of the most interesting markets in London. Loved by tourists as one of the greatest London’s attraction, subsequently one of the most visited by buyers/sellers and antique dealers. The market is open every day of the week, so you can visit just about any time you wish. However, it should be noted that some shops such as the antiques and bric-a-brac stalls are only open on Saturdays. This is arguably the best day of the week to visit as the market is in full swing.
Full street market on Saturday:
Antiques Arcades – open
Westbourne Grove – antiques stalls between Portobello Road and Kensington Park Road
Portobello Green – more new fashion and less vintage than Friday
The market is packed with stalls from Westbourne Grove all the way up to and along Golborne Road, and across under the Westway out to Ladbroke Grove.
Filled with everything from vintage jewellery, watches to gold and silver. The market is adored by locals and tourists alike.
